McGreevey Calling Frulio Back To CCC - 2004-01-11
Ralph Frulio could rejoin the Casino Control Commission by its next meeting, seven weeks after his bizarre departure.

Gov. James E. McGreevey on Friday nominated Frulio for a full five-year term, which is what Frulio had been wanting since last August.

Frulio joined the commission in late May, filling the unexpired term of Diane Legreide. The term expired Aug. 4, with an allowance for a 120-day holdover.

SkyCity expands to Whangarei - 2004-01-11
SkyCity Leisure, the cinema side of the casino-entertainment business, is purchasing Whangarei's Cinema City 5 complex for $2 million.

The complex is presently owned by a group of local investors.

SkyCity Leisure director Michael Daniel, who is a Northland resident, says the acquisition is a logical extension of the business.
