New Casino Boat to Open in Savannah - 2004-01-15
Owners of a new casino boat are betting on Savannah's River Street. The Savannah City Council has already authorized the company's liquor license, and now "Millionaire's Casino" is ready to try its luck. The owners have told city officials cruises will hopefully commence by the beginning of March. That's when the first floating party will take its maiden voyage.

Casino boats like the Queen of Hearts or Southern Elegance have tried their luck in Savannah, but were dealt a bad hand and went under almost as quickly as they came about.

CASINO MOHEGAN SUN OPENS REVIEW - 2004-01-15
The Moeghan Sun casino in Uncasville, Conn., has put its advertising account in review, the company said today.

Requests for proposals will be sent to agencies in the following days, a Mohegan Sun spokesman said. An executive familiar with the review said spending on the account is predicted to be between $25 million and $30 million.
