Excitement Builds For Upcoming World Series Of Poker - 2004-01-16
Poker players throughout the territory are getting ready for Divi Carina Bay Casino's poker qualifying tournaments scheduled to start next month.

Over 100 players have signed on for the World Series of Poker satellite-qualifying tournament set for Feb. 4-6.

Barbara Shattles, Divi Casino general manager, said Monday that strong interest in the first tournament prompted the casino to offer another 100 players the chance to compete in the World Series of Poker qualifying tournament.

Oklahoma Tribes Push For Colorado Casino - 2004-01-16
Two tribes in Oklahoma proclaimed support for a proposal to build a casino near Interstate 70 east of Denver.

The statement, issued by the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes, was the first formal announcement of a proposal that has been discussed for weeks, and it answered questions about whether any Indians are actually supporting the casino.
