Gamblers who love Las Vegas style slot machines will not have to venture out to Nevada anymore. A local casino is glad to announce that it will have new slot machines up and running in under a week.

Spotlight 29 Casino in Indio is the first local casino to offer the new slot machines to the public. The Coachella Valley has been anticipating the arrival of the new coin operated slot machines since the passage of Proposition 1-A in March. Under prop 1-A, California tribes can operate up to 2000 slot machines per tribe. The casino is expecting to receive about 160 machines.
