Police arrest robbery suspect - 2004-01-20
Police have captured a man suspected of robbing La Crosse Street Casino on Thursday afternoon, the Rapid City Police Department said.

Richard James Bonner, 32, of Rapid City was arrested about 11 a.m. Saturday at a home in Rapid City. He will be charged with first-degree robbery, resisting arrest and escape. He also faces warrants for unrelated charges of theft, possession of marijuana and false personation.

Bonner was being held in Pennington County Jail over the long holiday weekend pending arraignment today in Pennington County Magistrate Court.

Officials of Rock Island Boatworks Inc., who have been looking for a way to move from downtown Rock Island for several years, unwrapped plans for a $90 million casino Monday that will be built on Big Island near Interstate 280 and Illinois 92.
