Casino operator disappears without a trace - 2004-01-20
A destitute Rustenburg family are searching for their breadwinner who disappeared on September 2 last year after promising to come home and see them the next day.

Peter Shimane Molefe, 32 - a casino table inspector at Caesers in Kempton Park - is reported to have left his house in Kempton Park, driving a red Opel Monza going to work.

His mother, Anna Molefe, of Chaneng village in Phokeng, Rustenburg, said she spoke to him on the same day when he promised to come home to see the family in Chaneng. That was the last time she heard from him.

Regulators Approve Dubuque Casino Expansion - 2004-01-20
State gambling regulators have given the go ahead to expansion plans at the Dubuque Greyhound Park and Casino.

Last week, the Iowa Racing and Gambling Commission approved a nearly 16 (m) million dollar expansion to add 400 slots machines.

Last November, the commission voted to ask the Legislature to decide whether a five-year-old moratorium on new casino licenses should be lifted.
