KENOSHA: Developer touts casino's economic benefits - 2004-01-21
The Menominee Nation casino complex proposed for Dairyland Greyhound Park would generate $500 million annually into the area's economy, project officials say.
The project would employ as many as 3,500 people and could spur another 2,500 permanent local jobs in the area, according to an economic impact study.
The figures come from a report compiled by consulting firm PriceWaterhouse Coopers at casino developer Dennis Troha's request.
