Lawmakers Pushing for Pr. George's Casino - 2004-01-21
A group of lawmakers from Prince George's County is threatening to scuttle any legislation that would expand gambling in Maryland unless the county is promised a "destination resort" casino and a large chunk of the proceeds.

Members of the county's 23-member House of Delegates caucus began debate yesterday on a framework for legalized gambling in Prince George's, saying they want to make sure the county reaps as many benefits as possible if the General Assembly approves a gambling bill this year.
