Bally's New Orleans Offers Loose Slots - 2004-02-14
Bally's New Orleans is doing what no other casino in New Orleans has ever done - loosening almost all the slots in the casino by nearly 30 percent.

As part of a new marketing campaign featuring the incomparable "Loose Slot Louie," Bally's management is loosening more than 1,000 slots in the company's Louisiana riverboat casino. Only progressives, participation slots and video poker machines - already set for the lowest hold available - have escaped the frenetic Louie's slot-loosening onslaught. The new loose slot policy takes effect on February 20.

Texas Shootout game featured at Ameristar - 2004-02-14
Ameristar Casino-Hotel in Council Bluffs has become the first and only casino in Iowa to offer Texas Shootout, the newest game from Galaxy Gaming, licensed through Midwest Gaming.

Texas Shootout is a modified version of the popular poker games Texas Hold'em and Pineapple.

Players compete against the dealer to have the highest-ranking five-card poker hand, and have the option to increase their winnings with two bonus bets - the Shootout Bonus and Envy Bonus.
