Plymouth’s roads await casino’s fate - 2004-02-14
The Plymouth City Council last Thursday heard that county road projects at two city intersections will be deferred until the casino issue is decided there. A third will be completed this summer and a fourth, close by, was identified by Caltrans as a safety hazard.
Charles Field, executive director of Amador County Transportation Commission gave a report of the group’s draft Regional Transportation Plan Update for 2004. At the joint meeting and workshop with the council and its planning commission, he told them the intersection of state highways 16 and 49 had been targeted by Caltrans as a safety hazard.
