Government Agency May Buy Hacienda For Land - 2004-02-17
In a town built on gaming, it's quite normal for a casino to change ownership. But when the potential buyer is the federal government, that gets people talking. The property in question is the Hacienda Hotel-Casino on U.S. 93. News 3' Denise Rosch reports it's safe to assume the feds aren't interested in keeping the slots going.

It's doubtful the Bureau of Land Management is eyeing the buffet line at the Hacienda. What they do want is the land, not for redevelopment this time, but perhaps to get back to nature.
