'Healthy turnout' in county - 2004-02-17
Dane County voters set out to make history today, coming in large numbers to select a Democratic
nominee for president and to decide the fate of casino gambling here.
Dane County Clerk Joe Parisi said there appeared to be a "healthy turnout," and his phones had been ringing steadily starting at 7 a.m., with many residents asking for information on where to vote. "This usually indicates that new voters are going to the polls," he said.
