Casino's attempt to seize Diaz property postponed - 2004-02-18
A casino’s effort to take control of property of a former dealer accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars in gaming chips was postponed Tuesday in civil court until after her entry of a plea next week in the criminal case.

Harrah’s Operating Co. Inc. sued former Harrah’s Lake Tahoe dealer Patricia Gail Diaz, 47, of Gardnerville last year in Douglas County District Court to recover money it alleges Diaz stole between 1998 and January 2003.

Casino Robbery - Inside Job - 2004-02-18
Police in north Mississippi say the so called "honey bun bandit" might have had some inside help when she robbed the Grand casino back in October.

Nataisha Joiner and her boyfriend Marlon Talley have both been charged with armed robbery. Police say Joiner was the cashier at the Grand, who handed over more than $65,000 in cash to Lynn Stevenson.
