Casino night for Jett Foundation - 2004-02-18
The Pembroke-based Jett Foundation is organizing an "Evening in Monte Carlo" to promote their efforts
to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The event will be held on Saturday, March 13 at 7 p.m. at the Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston.

The event will feature casino games by Vegas Time Entertainment, music, dancing, and a chance for party-goers to win cash prizes worth $5,000. Each person who buys a ticket to the event receives $50,000 in "funny money" at the door.

Defeated, Ho-Chunk to refocus - 2004-02-18
Moments after Ho-Chunk President George Lewis conceded that Dane County residents had rejected his tribe's bid to convert the DeJope bingo hall into a casino, he said the Ho-Chunk Nation would refocus its resources on developing the 46 acres it owns surrounding the facility.

"We'll continue to grow," he said in an interview at the Concourse Hotel, where tribal leaders and members gathered Tuesday night with supporters. "We're business people."
