Washington Casino Growth Slow But Steady - 2004-02-24
Two months after it started operations, the $16 million Little Creek Casino Hotel is roughly half full on an average day. And that's just fine so far with general manager Doug Boon, who notes that two recent weekends were sold out with gamblers.

The Squaxin Island tribe built the adjoining 92-room hotel to complement its casino, which opened in 1995. The tribe's hope is that the hotel will add to the $20 million in direct and indirect annual earnings from the casino with proceeds from guests, meetings and convention business.

Fact Sheet On Casino Tribe Approved - 2004-02-24
The Sonoma County Commission on Human Rights approved a fact sheet Monday that outlines the historical background of the Indian tribe planning a casino for Rohnert Park, saying it hopes to dispel any myths or misconceptions that may be circulating about the tribe.

The two-page document details the history of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, highlighting the earliest historical account of the tribe in 1579 and Congress' granting it federal tribal status in 2000.
