Trump Looking for Lucky Hand with Casino Deal - 2004-02-24
On his popular reality television show "The Apprentice," Donald Trump appears to be a consummate executive, but his decision last week to surrender control of his debt-laden hotel and casino company shows that the fates of the business world can even trump "The Donald."

The iconic real estate developer, best-selling author and favorite of tabloid gossip columns agreed to hand control of Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts Inc. to a Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) affiliate in return for $400 million in cash.

GOVERNOR SAYS CASINO 'NOT THE SOLUTION' IN MEMPHIS - 2004-02-24
Casino gambling in Memphis is "not the solution" to the city's economic struggle, Gov. Phil Bredesen said while also emphasizing that attempts to extend gambling in Tennessee beyond the lottery should be curbed for a maximum of 10 years.

Bredesen made his opinions known in a conference call Monday while attending the annual National Governors Association conference in Washington, D.C.
