Gaming facility facelift boosts NZ entertainment groups profits - 2004-02-26
The New Zealand firm, SkyCity Entertainment Group, has demonstrated flat financial results from the Adelaide casino.
But it has enhanced its half-year profits entirely $38 million.
Since then, it has also put in a $195 million offer to buy the Darwin hotel and casino from MGM Grand.
Detailing its results this morning, SkyCity claims once the acquisition is complete, around 29 percent of its revenues will be derived from Australian operations.
