Convicted killer sees another postponement in trial - 2004-02-27
Jury selection has been delayed in the sentencing trial of Kenrick Vincent.

According to prosecutors and police, Vincent and two accomplices were taking Larry Vannoy's prized pickup from his driveway when the 66-year-old retired airline mechanic leaped into the back of his truck to impede the theft. He was discovered dead the next day, Nov. 19, 2000, off Maricopa Road near Wild Horse Pass Casino on the Gila River Indian Community.

Mountain View Casino to make rifts - 2004-02-27
Mountain View Casino proprietor John McCaw unveiled that groundbreaking on the new building could commence Wednesday, if all goes according to plan.
"We've just got a couple of tiny matters to clean up, but I anticipate that happening in time to break ground Wednesday.

Phase one of the plan will be constructed by Las Vegas-based Acumen Construction, and will feature a restaurant that will seat about 200 individuals and a casino with 200 slots and live gaming.
