Windsor man hits jackpot of $4 million on Casino slots - 2004-02-28
Lady Luck smiled on a Windsor, Ontario, man Saturday morning.

Casino Windsor representatives stated a man won $4.5 million on a MegaBucks slots. Casino spokeswoman Holly Ward stated that the high jackpot had been attracting a lot of attention from gamblers. Ward stated the man left a blackjack table to play the $1 slot machine because of the hype on the floor.

Officials reported his win was the biggest in Casino Windsor history - and the second biggest MegaBucks win in the Ontario.

Casino deliberation shows two realities in Connecticut - 2004-02-28
The chance of another Indian casino in Connecticut is intensifying a split between struggling cities that anticipate the project may respond to their dreams and better-off communities that see it as a nightmare.

But officials in troubled cities like Bridgeport and Waterbury see a casino as a possible solution to their search for steady jobs and tax relief.
Bridgeport Mayor John Fabrizi, who has met with the tribe, stated there are many unknowns and variables regarding a casino.
