Highway shooter compensation uncertain - 2004-03-18
The detainment of the suspect in the deadly highway shooting spree has provoked questions about who should receive the $60,000 reward — the man who recognized him at a Las Vegas casino or family members who purportedly turned him in.

Conrad Malsom, an unemployed salesman, recognized McCoy after witnessing him in a casino reading a news article about himself. He later tracked down McCoy's car at the motel where he was lodging.

Isle of Capri not hurrying on Chicago casino liability - 2004-03-18
Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. will start setting up funding for the construction of a Chicago casino in May if a court authorizes a plan supported by state regulators, the casino operator reported on Thursday.

The Chicago casino could pay back bank debt early minus substantial penalties, which could be enticing if the gambling business was better than anticipated, he added.
