The detainment of the suspect in the deadly highway shooting spree has provoked questions about who should receive the $60,000 reward — the man who recognized him at a Las Vegas casino or family members who purportedly turned him in.
Conrad Malsom, an unemployed salesman, recognized McCoy after witnessing him in a casino reading a news article about himself. He later tracked down McCoy's car at the motel where he was lodging.
