Casino, Cinema, £30M Expected For New Complex - 2004-03-06
A £30 million leisure complex featuring a new 12-screen cinema, restaurant and casino is on the cards for Swansea. Detailed plans have been presented to Swansea Council.
Plans for the new venture feature a casino, cinema, restaurant, coffee shop, bar and a five-storey block of 20 residential apartments.

The Swansea arm of construction company Brunswick Mansford Ltd, which is responsible for Salubrious Place, is also behind the most recent development.

Waukegan project tops in proposal for casino - 2004-03-06
A proposal by Harrah's Entertainment Inc. to acquire the state's final gambling license and construct a casino in Waukegan is the top bid among three offers, the Illinois Gaming Board revealed Friday.

The two other bidders are Midwest Gaming and Entertainment LLC, which provided $360 million for the license to construct a Des Plaines casino, and Isle of Capri Casinos Inc., which propose $351 million and has a Rosemont site.
