Greektown Casino swaps key exec - 2004-03-08
Long-time gaming manager Craig Ghelfi is the new chief operating officer at Detroit’s Greektown Casino, which indicated a $2.3-million drop in returns last year on gaming receipts of $325.3 million.
Ghelfi, 52, takes the place of Sal Semola, who held the executive job at Greektown for two years. Before that, Semola was vice president of table games operations at the gambling hall, which debuted at Lafayette and Beaubien in November 2001.
