Pickpocket robs $7,500 from players - 2004-03-08
A pickpocket took $7,500 from a Canadian gambler's inside pocket as he played baccarat at Casino Rama, close to Orillia, Ontario.
A witness who saw something suspicious mentioned to the victim to check his pockets, and when he saw that his wallets containing the money vanished, he notified casino security, the Toronto Sun reported Monday.
McKenzie stated that although the casino has a lot of security cameras most are concentrated on the gaming tables and not on the individuals behind the tables.
