Pala tribe demands 'junkyard' eradicated - 2004-03-09
Within eyesight of the $215 million Pala casino complex, there's a heap of over 600 old cars, and the tribe wants it removed.
But Eric Thomson, who owns the cars that are resting on a 10-acre lot about a mile southeast of the casino, is not budging. He stated the tribe, which has been attempting to get him to depart for two years, is not open for compromise and that it has landlocked him.
