What's going on with the Illinois Gaming Board and the 10th casino license?
Illinois now has a gaming board with only two remaining members. These members are Bill Dugan and Gary Peterlin, two men who can do nothing because they lack a quorum.
It would be one thing if this were just a perfunctory board, but there is no more important state agency to put money into Illinois' state coffers than the gaming board. And, while the governor raises toll fees, the hundreds of millions of dollars that could be going into the state's accounts are sitting moribund.
