Atlantic City Dec. casino revenue rises 12.6 pct - 2005-01-11
Gambling revenue at casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey, rose by 12.6% in December according to New Jersey state regulators. Total casino gambling revenue rose to $360.7 million from $320.3 million.
The year-old Borgata casino, owned by Boyd Gaming Corp., and MGM Mirage showed the biggest gain, 45.1%, followed closely by the Atlantic City Sands, which enjoyed a 45% increase.
