Gambling Bill attacked by casinos - 2005-02-15
The British Casino Association officially launched its campaign against the Government's Gambling Bill yesterday to try to get a better deal for existing operators.
It mostly objects to proposals that will permit new casinos a larger number of gaming machines than at existing casinos. It fears the new regime will benefit foreign operators at the expense of British companies and wants a level playing field.
