Fourth-quarter profit at Gateway Casinos Income Fund dropped to $6.3 million. This was down from $10 million a year earlier. Annual profits edged down on interest expense and debt from a recent acquisition.
For the quarter that ended on Dec. 31, net earnings amounted to 24 cents per diluted unit. This is compared to 38 cents per unit in the year-earlier period, on revenues of $24.3 million, up from $23.5 million.
